Orthophoto maps of the 8th cycle (2022 - 2024)

In the spring of 2022, LGIA, in cooperation with the Polish company "Opegiek", started aerial photography of the 8th cycle of the territory of Latvia. The work period is from 2022 to 2024 according to the concluded contract and the work plan. For the first time, aerial photography will be carried out for the entire territory of Latvia with a resolution of 20 cm. Delivered aerial photography images will be in multispectral (RGBI) and infrared (CIR) color spectrum.

This year, aerial photography is planned in Kurzeme on an area of 20,650 km2, and by the end of the year, it is planned to complete data acquisition, reception and processing, providing high-quality orthophoto maps.
