Archive and fund
The LGIA geospatial information archive started its work on June 1, 2006, taking over the geodesy and cartography materials from the SLS archive and systematizing them.
The Archive and Material Circulation Fund provides:
- compilation, storage, accounting and issuance of LGIA cartography, geodesy and photogrammetry technical documentation (including electronic), record keeping and personnel documents for work purposes;
- an opportunity for legal persons and individuals to purchase geoinformative material circulated by the LGIA - maps, books.
Geoinformation materials existing and available in the Archive and Material Circulation Fund:
1. Catalogues, overviews, reports:
- aerial photographs in analogue and digital form, aerial photography overviews;
- orthophoto maps in digital form;
- topographic maps and plans in analogue and digital form, technical documentation for their preparation;
- thematic maps;
- satellite maps and compilation materials;
- copies of photographic plans;
- geodetic and gravimetric surveying and reporting files;
- leveling point height catalogues published until 1990 (in Russian);
- triangulation network catalogues published before 1990 (in Russian);
- catalogues of the national trigonometric network published from 1922 to 1942 in 12 volumes;
- technical reports and catalogues of coordinates and heights of polygonometric points for cities, etc. populated areas;
- topographic survey files;
- scientific references and records;
- educational literature in the fields of geodesy, cartography and topography in Russian.
