Latvian quasi-geoid model LV 14 and the Earth Gravitation Model 1996 (EGM-96)

The Latvian Geospatial Information Agency has developed a conversion surface for the transformation of the Latvian quasi-geoid model LV'14 into the 1996 Earth gravity model EGM-96, which is currently used for aeronautical purposes.

The accuracy of the model EGM-96 is 2 m. The differences between LV'14 and EGM-96 in the territory of Latvia range from -21 cm to 80 cm.
